Tonight WWE presents the first annual Payback pay per view! Here are my thoughts on tonights pay per view:
Sheamus vs Damien Sandow on the Pre-Show: Honestly I probably wont be watching the pre-show and also, plain and simple, I just don't want to see this match. I'm a huge fan of Damien's, love his mic and in ring work, but i'm tired of Sheamus, haven't been a fan of his in awhile. Plus, im pretty sure after this match, there wont be any continuation into a storyline between these two.
My Pick: Damien Sandow
Wade Barrett (c) vs Curtis Axel vs Miz for the Intercontinental Title: This match was originally gonna be a triple threat with Fandango in place of Axel, but he suffered a concussion and Axel was put in his place. Now im a big fan of all three guys in this match, but Wade and Miz both haven't really been doing much lately, unless its on Smackdown, which I haven't watched in quite awhile.
I think its safe to say that we will be crowning a new champ tonight.
My Pick: Curtis Axel
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins (c) vs Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton for the Tag Team Titles: Let me start by saying that I love The Shield, especially love that they all have titles. However, I am not pleased with this match, because the tag team of Bryan and Orton is fucking bullshit. I'm tired of tag teams being put together and within a week they're getting a shot at the titles.
My Pick: Rollins and Reigns
Kaitlyn (c) vs AJ Lee for the Divas Title: I have been loving this feud for the past 2 years and im happy that they seem to finally be letting this feud play out. Can't wait to see how tonight plays out, and would love to see the two continue to feud and have the feud reach the level of Trish and Lita (I have high hopes don't I?).
My Pick: AJ Lee
Dean Ambrose (c) vs Kane for the United States Title: Overall this should be a good match, as long as Dean doesn't lose.
My Pick: Dean Ambrose
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Title: Dolph's finally back from concussion, finally defending his title. While I'm a fan of both, we haven't gotten much with Dolph as champ, so don't want him to lose it yet.
My Pick: Dolph Ziggler
John Cena (c) vs Ryback in a 3 stages of hell match for the WWE Title: This match is going to start off with a Lumberjack match, then become a Tables match, and finally if it reaches that far, which it will, it will become an Ambulance match. Obviously this match will be the main event, im not all excited for this match, I love that theres a gimmick, but that's about all im going to enjoy.
My Pick: Ryback
CM Punk vs Chris Jericho: This is the match I am most excited about and that I wish was the main event as it should be. This is Punk's return since he walked out at Raw, and him and Jericho are resuming they're feud. Plus, Punk is going to hav a bit of hometown advantage. I love the Punk/Jericho feud, and can't wait to see where this feud leads to this time.
My Pick: Either, I just know it will be a great match
